Ambulatory Monitor

AmbMon

Cooper Consulting Service worked with a research foundation to design and prototype a wearable monitor to record physiological parameters used to assess a new treatment regimen for bipolar children. CCS delivered a battery powered monitor along with electrodes and sensors for continuously recording for 48 hours more than 10 signals, including temperatures, activity and several physiological indicators. The system has a Bluetooth wireless connection to a PC for verification of signal integrity and has software for post-processing the data. The system has IRB approval and is currently deployed in their clinical study.
